Future MTV Veejay?
Clara’s favorite party trick is identifying musicians by their latest hits. We quizzed her the other night to see how well she did with some of her favorites. If nothing else, it’s proof that we listen to too much Top 40 radio in the car.
We didn’t set out to teach this little “skill” to Clara, she’s just always saying “who is this?” when a song comes on, and apparently she likes to call out whoever it is once she hears the song a few times and has it memorized. It’s pretty cute though, so we’re not complaining. Until she starts singing along to Ke$ha…

I just love Clara! She is so smart! She’s about a 1 1/2 years older than my little girl so it’s fun to watch Clara grow and peek a little bit into our future.

I have never laughed that hard in my life! I just love how excited she got for Gangham Style…till she got cheeky with the camera. That sweet baby girl :)
My favorite part though is that she is putting away your dish towels…you guys have raised her right!!!!

This is hilarious! I love that she only needs the first 5 seconds of a song to know what it is too – no need for words or a major intro…she knows her stuff! Add in the towel and the face smash and it’s almost too much awesome!
JUST LAUGHED SO LOUD AT WORK. this totally made my day. with each song i just got more excited… “justin beiber!!” and who sings this?? “PSY! Gangham Style!” then the camera crash….i think I am going to go watch this about 10 more times.

Haha, that’s brilliant! When I was a little girl my Mum used to do this with TV theme tunes when she was washing us in the bath.
It’s fab that she loves music so much!
These videos also show your kitchen off so well, sometimes it’s hard to get a “feel” for it from the photos so the video really helps.
