Here’s a video from the archives (January to be exact – somehow we overlooked it four months ago). It’s becoming pretty clear that Rihanna tops of the list of Clara’s favorite pop stars (see this video as Exhibit A). She she even broke out some fist pumping.

Hahahaha! You go, Clara! My cousin’s toddlers love “Low” by Flo Rida (the apple bottom jeans and boots with the fur song). It must be the beat. Clara has such a good sense of musicality — she has certainly mastered the fist pumping and galloping. So cute.
Haha, my cousin Olivia loves that song too! We have danced and sung to it many a time!

Love the first part where she starts bouncing….then tapping on the stool…and love how she watches her reflection on the oven door ~ too cute!
The personality in this child is fabulous! She is so uninhibited and so sure of herself. You have a sweet, sweet little girl. She is truly a gift.
Love that her hair is growing. My daughters hair was like that also at 2. She is a grown-up now with thick long hair. There is hope.

I love it! My daughter is 14 months, and already she has the fist pump going as well. My husband is 100% Jersey (making baby 50% Jersey as well), so he’s as proud as you are, Sherry!

When I found out that you are from Jersey I was so sad thinking why did they have to live all the way in Richmond.. That’s how much I love your family (I will never say this in front of my husband, he’ll think I have mental issues lol)
Haha, you’re so cute! I think my relatives up there think the same thing! But they get to come down and visit and enjoy the warmer weather, so they “get it” when they do. Haha. Still have a huge soft spot for Jersey though!

Quick question for ya, since I spotted it in the video… do you only have that strap-on highchair for Clara? Or do you have a stand-alone one too that maybe you used when she was littler? Inquiring minds working on their first baby registry would like to know…. :-) Thanks!
Oh yes, that’s all we have used since she was old enough to eat at a high chair (6 months). Worked like a charm! It was a money/space saver tip from some moms we knew (they bought both and only ever used the snap on one). We do have an old chair from my mom that I recently spray painted yellow, but it’s more of a kid chair and not a high chair (it doesn’t have a tray or a strap, so it’s for 2+ year old kiddos).

Ahh! I love it all! I can’t pick my favorite part. It’s tied between Clara’s first few sing-a-longs, the pure joy at the Jersey fist pump, and the gallop at the end. Seriously, 2:45 seconds of awesomeness!

I was going to say that my favorite part was when she was galloping with one hand clutching the mermaid and the other dancing, but then I saw the first pumping and the Jersey pride in me won! So stinkin’ cute. I love how Jersey is like a nationality! She’s 50% Jersey, part Italian, etc, haha!
I have been meaning to show you this book for Clara. I have seen how she loves to sing and repeat poems or songs. she also loves animals and you guys seem to like the whimsical.
