Clara Sings The Hits!
By now you know Clara does lots of singing around these parts (and she has a penchant for Top 40 hits by the likes of Rihanna and Adele). But we do sing normal kid songs too. And we finally have proof. Four and half glorious minutes of proof. Although a more obscure kid’s song (“The Bouncing Song“) sneaks in there at the beginning.
Not only are we in disbelief that she entertained us for so long, but it’s a flat out miracle that at no point did she try to grab the camera and request to “watch baby” (i.e. herself). A miracle I tell you.

She’s 19 months old. She’s such a chatterbug!

I think my heart just melted! She is soooo adorable!
So cute. I just love that little voice!!
Could she be any cuter?! I think not.
So cute! Both Clara and the poof she’s on! Is the poof new? I think I missed where it was from . . . it might work perfectly as I convert our nursery in to a shared bedroom for big sis and (almost here) baby bro! Thanks!
Yes, we haven’t blogged about it yet! It moves around the house but ended up in her room that day. It’s from jossandmain.com on clearance!

OMG! She is soooo adorable! She is a great talker!!
Cutest kid ever!
Oh My Goodness my daughter does the same thing with Twinkle, just starts it over and then it becomes the endless song. Kids singing and chattering and making up their own words and singing what they think they hear are all on my list of favorite things to listen to. No really. Toddler gibberish, that channel on youtube….I subscribe. I kid. But really, if there *were* a channel, I would totally subscribe. =)
Clara is adorbs. So glad to hear her sweet little voice.
She is absolutely adorable! Such a smarty!
If only I could use sound at work…
She is still mighty adorable though!
It is amazing that she and my little man are the same age (he’s May 18). Her verbal skills are amazing!!! So cute too!
(I’m lucky that I can get him to say “Trader” and “Joe” together. That’s about all the combining of words we’ve gotten aside from “night-night” :)
Aw he’ll get there! She was a super late walker so it’s all a trade off I think!

Hehe. Thats too precious! Favorite part was during “Wheels on the Bus” when she stuck the block in her mouth and hummed out the rest of the verse around it. Too cute.
She is so cute! I loved the Itsy Bitsy Spider on repeat! Apparently it rained a lot that day! :)
So.Stinkin.Cute.
I mean, you guys are totally going to treasure that video for-EV! =) =)
You might have the next American Idol on your hands!
I am laughing so hard!!! She’s so vocal! Y’all will have such a fun time showing her these when she grows up.
(And she’s clearly more than a little obsessed with that pouf.)
She has such great rhythm! I hope my daughter can speak that good when she gets that old.
OMG she is adorable def gonna break hearts when she is older x
This video is fantastic, I think it may have just surpassed my other favorite Clara video…the one with John, Clara and the shipping tube. Those giggles are to die for.
She is so cute! And amazingly tuneful. My kids (5 and 3) STILL haven’t gotten the hang of the actual tune yet! Love it!
I haven’t been around a lot of kids the past few years, but I babysat an almost-two year old (not exactly sure of her age) and she could say “yes,” “no,” and “nose.” I was amazed when I realized how advanced Clara is at speaking (and singing). You two are wonderful parents for teaching her so much at a young age. I know she is probably more naturally inclined to speak, but if you two weren’t there with her all the time stimulating these skills, I’m sure she would not be such a good talker. Just one reason why I want to stay home with our future kiddos when they are young because these years can never be replaced.
The. Cutest. Thing. Ever. I had so much fun watching this! The imitation of the baby on the bus was spot on (she must have had some recent practice haha). The frosty rendition was very funny. I also loved that she was totally multi-tasking with all the climbing the stool (a very nice one btw, do tell!), playing with the blogs, and singing at the same time. That’s inherited from you guys for sho! And I loved how she said bye bye and proceeded to run out of the room. :)
Sooo yeah that was pretty much the cutest and funniest thing ever.
Also – “Thank you for that piece of paper” had me in hysterics for some reason!
India xx
Haha! The “wah wah wah” of the babies on the bus is adorable. :) Loves!
Cracking up! My favorite moment was the pause in the song to “hat” with the lego on her head.
Hilarious!
So adorable! It’s so cute how grown-up Clara seems when she sings, and then she does something adorably toddler-like by sticking a block in her mouth, and climbing in the block basket. I am also amazed by Clara’s verbal skills at 19 months, probably because my youngest is 16 months and doesn’t have many words. But just recently I found the list of words her older sister could say at 16 months, and Big Sis was just like Clara. You could even have a conversation with her at 18 months (Big Bro didn’t really talk until 21 months). It’s funny what you forget because with little ones, you always live in the present. I’m so glad you were able to film this as you will have so much fun watching this when Clara is older.
Love it! Adorable! Our friends just had a baby a month ago and my husband and I are starting to get the twinge. Things like this don’t help, guys!
She is too adorable!!! I don’t want kids, and I think she just made my ovaries wake up a little ;)
So adorable! You are blessed!
Clara is so adorable!! This is making me so excited for our little girl…but she won’t be here for another ~8 weeks or so. =)
That video makes me want to leave work and go make a baby! So cute!
Love the Itsy Bitsy Spider remix haha. Cuteness overload! :)
Haha! That is the cutest thing. I have a 23 month old and she LOVES watching the videos you post of Clara. She gets so excited every time there’s a new one and makes us watch it at least twice while going “Hi baby! Hi baby!”
So cute!

I agree! My kids come running to watch when they hear her from another room. They always try chatting with her {since we Skype with friends}. She is so smart and sweet!
xoxo!

Aww, so cute. I love that she waved bye-bye and left the room!
My goddaughter is a fan of Choo Choo Soul on Disney, but she likes her Adele too. I even captured a bit of her Adele on camera.
Rolling In The Deep
Haha- so cute!!

PRICELESS! What a doll! She is so smart and has a great memory.
What a happy little girl. You guys are doing a good job!
Favorite Clara video ever! :D
My 5-month old son LOVED watching that. He even whined when it was over. =)
She’s so precious when she walks over and picks up the paper on her floor and brings it to John as if to say “here you go daddy”.
Adorable. She’s definitely loving that poof!
So…sorry, but I’m a total music nerd. She actually has AMAZING pitch for being so young. Usually it takes them a while to be able to hit the right notes, but she nails it! So cute.
Aw thanks Andria! I think she’s the next Beyonce.

That’s exactly what I was thinking! I don’t usually comment, but I had to comment on that.
Aw you guys are sweet!

The Wheels on the Bus was always my favorite song/book to sing with my kids. Love Clara’s baby’s on the bus go waa waa waa!!! Adorable!!!
I love the dramatic exit at the end. “BYE BYE!” and I’m outta here!
New pouf and pillow in Clara’s room? Cute!
Haha, that pouf moves around the house just like that pillow! Haha. The pillow is from Bed Bath & Beyond and the pouf is from Joss and Main. Guess we should post about that stuff soon!

oh my, you do have just about the cutest little girl ever! and she knows so many songs, i love it!
i have seen a home video of myself singing “three little monkeys” that is quite similar to this. :)
BEST POST EVER!! Thank you so much for sharing – really made my day. When Clara has a younger sibling eventually she’ll be an excellent role model for learning to speak; you guys have done an amazing job teaching her so much.
she is SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys you have a typo in the first line. Signing should be singing. Just dying. :)
Clara is super cute!
Oops.I meant to type just F Y I. Auto correct on my phone.
