A Man & His Dog
Katie Bower recently sent us a bunch of photos she shot when we visited earlier this summer. Tucked within dozens of cute photos of Clara, this gem stands out as my favorite. Behold its bountiful cheesiness.
On one hand it looks like a still from some G-rated movie about a chihuahua lost in the wilderness who miraculously finds his way home to his master. On the other hand, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Burger more embarrassed to be related to me.
What can I say? I loves me some Burger… and I’m apparently not ashamed to show it.

This totally made my lunch break…marinara might have come out of my nose. PS – Is it just me, or does John look uncannily like Josh Lucas? Not necessarily in this picture…but I can’t watch Sweet Home Alabama anymore and not think about YHL!

Ha, kinda sad when your dog is too cool for you. Where’s that doggy adoration and devotion? Maybe he’s more like a cat in that “I want affection but also need to maintain my dignity” way. Playing hard to get.
Adorable! Will you post the rest of the pictures? I’d love to see them (and I’m sure I’m not the only one :)). I LOVE Katie’s photography. I wish she lived in NOrthern Virginia because I’d hire her in a heartbeat to take pictures of our baby (due in 10 days!). In fact, the picture of Clara that she took (I think she’s sitting on a wood box looking down) convinced me and my hubby to splurge on the F1.4 50mm lens. It’s great to have talented friends!

This is GREAT! Is there anyway to email you a pic I took of my daughter and my chihuahua? I think you’d get a kick out of it – it won a 3rd place ribbon in our county fair, but we personally think it should have done better! LOL
